stoic says...
CyberSolar; Grass is Greener! Enjoy the music. :)
CyberSolar; Grass Is Greener is a music & tech-rooted, multi-modal art project exploring the fringes of climate psychology through the lens of poetic tech, stoicism, and subversive community building. Guided by the uptempo polyrhythms that define daily life in a digital world, the sound of CyberSolar sets listeners on a rainbow road of eclectic verse, liquid ambiance, and high-powered whimsy.
Exploring CyberSolar one-dimensionally is doing a disservice to the convoluted world of IRL hotspots and internet undergrounds being built by rapper-hacker-activist stoic da poet. Undeniably inspired by an early aughts childhood and a life of eyes awash in blue-light as a web dev, stoic weaves the eccentricity of low poly liminal spaces with a tapestry of half-believable, deep-internet aesthetics like weirdcore, solarpunk, and frutiger aero.
At it's vertex, the project is an attempt to reframe the collective conscious around a world engulfed in climate antagonism and jaded hopes. Rooted in life-centric design and nu-urbanism, the "Bliss"-like iconography spirals out into an appreciation of the solarpunk world we already live in - wide scale sun & wind harvesting, municipal composting, and real-time, real-life, bipartisan climate adaptations - all set in the context of a lonely & capitalistic world.
To fight against an ever-encroaching online advertisement realm, a sharp reversal of local climate funding, and a fear-based skepticism of artificial intelligence, the project encourages community members to remember that their involvement in this hype cycle is optional; alternatives exist in which the grass truly can be the saturated green of a desktop background.
They just need to open their eyes & ears, hearts & minds, mp3 players & browsers.
CyberSolar; Grass Is Greener. Coming online Spring/Summer 2026.
